Little Bits: Just Lovely

Hey Monday, what is going on? Did everyone have a great weekend? We did! Lots of Mother’s Day festivities, hang-time with friends, running, and seeing The Avengers for a second time (still awesome, FYI). Here is a little bit if my last week on Instagram, you can add me “She is Sara” 


1) It is always difficult getting my cats to sit still for a pic, but this is Mary-Kittens in all her glory. She likes to hide in the curtains and stare at the neighbors, or as my dad would say “Watch the news”.

2) This is one of my most favorite places in my house. I have my own coffee & tea cart, complete with my favorite toy ever: My French Press.



3) Here are the bow ties two of the little guys standing up in my wedding are going to wear. My little brother Liam, and Kyle’s nephew, Dontae.

4) Also, I like to wear robots.


5) One of my favorite things to do in the Spring, Summer & Fall: Fire-pits. Oak Park is one of the few cities in Detroit’s suburbs that allow fire-pits. Sitting around the fire telling “your mom” jokes & sipping beer will be happening.

6) Another favorite of mine: Going out to the metro-parks in Michigan. Saturday Kyle had to work, so I took a much needed trip out to Stoney Creek with my friends Becky & Sara, and our pups. We ended up walking 6 miles, in the off-and-on rain. It felt amazing to be outside.

    Love the kitty photo and your coffee/tea setup - I kind of have my own cart like that too but it's not quite that lovely! I have a friend who'd love your robot necklace too!

    We had a mini fire pit in our backyard that the neighbors use all the time. I definitely need to have a S'mores night with my friends this summer.

    I watched The Avengers again this weekend with my mom and brother. I've seen it 4 times now I want to go see it again. I love the movie so much! :P
