Ally's Visit To Detroit
10:12 PM
Over the weekend I was lucky enough to have a visit from a person I have known for several years now, but had not met until Friday evening. A couple of months back, Ally emailed me about a crazy adventure from New York to Detroit (with some stops along the way) and the rest is history! I had an absolute blast showing Ally around my hometown of Ferndale, and the city of Detroit. I wasn't exactly sure where the "tourist" spots are in the city, so I just took her to a few of my favorite places: Lost and Found Vintage, The WAB, The Rustbelt Market, Eastern Market, Great Lakes Coffee, John K King Used & Rare Books, The Heidleberg Project, and even my favorite dive bar in Ferndale, Sneakers. My cousin Haley met us for brunch, and my friends Dan, Brian, Dani, and Kyle all hungout for a bit. I don't think I have had such a busy, yet relaxing weekend in a long time, and I couldn't have had a better friend to share it with.

Meeting blog friends is the best! I've heard... wait, have I ever met one or am I always living vicariously through others? LOL. My question is - what is THAT HOUSE?!
