Little Bits: Sunday On Belle Isle

It was a beautiful Sunday, probably the very first nice spring day of the year, and we were hungover. After a night of karaoke, and a late night, post-bar gathering at our house, I was a giant asshole and woke everyone up to get breakfast. I was an even bigger asshole on the way to breakfast, because I decided that everyone wasn't awake enough, so I blasted Muse at full volume until we reached the diner where we scarfed our hangover breakfasts and decided what to do with the rest of the day.

Kyle was ready to head back home and hangout with his twin brother Brian for the day, while Mariah and I hemmed and haw'd a bit. Luckily Tatiana texted Mariah, and suggested that we head to Belle Isle for the day so that's what we did!

Granted less stuff is open on Sundays, the zoo and the aquarium for instance, but we had a great time bumming around in the sunshine and were able to check out the conservatory, which was cool because plants, yo! I had never actually been in the conservatory before, so it was nice to check it out. After, we decided to walk around a bit more and then headed out to get giant-ass taco salads in Mexicantown. It was a great girl's day! We acted like a bunch of assholes, and took turns embarrassing the shit out of each other. What else are lazy Sundays for?
