Weekend In Tawas
9:26 AM
A few weeks ago, my cousins Haley and Leslie, as well as myself, decided to take a trip up to Tawas for the weekend. We headed up late Friday night, so we just went to sleep when we finally got there (about three hours north of where I live).
Saturday we headed out early to get breakfast at a local diner, then decided to bum around the town to check out the shops. We also decided that it would be a good idea to walk a few miles to a local farmers market, only to get there when it was closing up, whoops. We also had some great coffee from a cute little coffee shop, checked out the boat dock, and had some drinks at the local bar.
We headed back out Sunday afternoon, and I was exhausted by the time I got home. It was really cool to get away to another part of Michigan, if only for a weekend.

Sweet times! I love her hat! Did she make it herself? I've made one similar to that one..out of an old favorite sweater.
