Taste Of Brown
5:37 PM
"Making the most out of my day" has been my mantra this week. I am kicking ass at work, my boss was off on his honeymoon since last week and I basically took over! Okay, so it was a slow week last week, but everyone was scrambling around trying to catch up this week and I think that I handled things pretty well. Granted there is nobody around to give me any credit but myself, but that is okay. I am just satisfied that I am able to handle my job and then some when push comes to shove and I know that one day I will no longer work for a corporation and instead I will be working at a University or writing stories, or both. I also attacked the house last night and managed to clean almost the whole thing. It is so nice to be able to grab a coat out of the closet without being attacked by it's contents. Go me.
Okay, enough patting myself on the back. Onto stranger things, like the lack of snow! I had plans folks, plans for the greatest snow-fort imaginable. I have my OWN backyard this year, I have younger brother's whom I can sucker into anything with food bribery, and I have no classes or homework to prevent these events from happening. This has to be the most mildest winter ever, and everyone here who is jumping for joy is going to be majorly pissed when we get snow in May. It's going to happen, Michigan is evil like that sometimes.
I won't let the lack of snow foul my mood though, nope! I made an amazing spicy-vegan dish last night and I am still drooling over it. I am not going to convert over though, I love eggs too much. I am also reading Peter Pan, which if you haven't read it yet, I highly suggest you do as it is a very quick read and very entertaining.
