One of the things I want to do if I get a house with a garage, is to paint the door. I love those tacky garage doors, I mean, if it can be seen from the street, it would be so easy to tell people where you live. "Yeah we are the house with the bright-ass garage doors". Plus it would be so much fun to do, the hard part would be picking out the design for me, there is basically a blank canvas to do whatever you want with it. Also, painting it well would be hard for me. I would have to actually do a good job. Here are some cool ones that I found on the 'net.

    i love the garage door idea. i have to say the batman one is super tempting though in the end i am not bold enough to commit to that. my bf and i are also house hunting. i am a little nervous to buying but besides that it has been super fun.

    oh, my..now thats some art indeed. love to have sunflowers on mine. Last night I watched the finale of american Idol. Each Idol got a car. 1st & 2nd. Crystal didn't take the prize, but that car was just amazingly gorgeous..with sunflowers on her Ford Fiesta.

    Oh wow, I've never seen any of these before. I don't think I'd ever do it but it is quite fun. I like the second one the best because it's like you could walk straight into the the forest.

    I have to say- I can totally see myself painting my garage door one day. Maybe not anything tooo extreme, but I love having unexpected things outdoors. (not like toilet bowl flower-planters, but something classy and different I suppose)

    SO YES! Paint the garage door!
