Bare Limbs

More cats! Although, the black rings on the sleeves of this dress have bled into the fabric. I have been looking online and so far it looks like Oxyclean is the way to go, but if any of you lovelies have other suggestions on how to fix that, please let me know, save the cat dress!
Not much else to report today, it was a beautiful day, this Sunday. It snowed the following night. I don't even.

Charming, as always. You ARE blog-famous, Sara; we just need to get more people to agree!
ReplyDeleteI didn't even notice the color bleed until you pointed it out. You look all summery and lovely. :D
ReplyDeleteYou can also try distilled vinegar. I've gotten stains out with it before, not sure how well it works on dye.
Simply love your dress!! Too cute!! :))
ReplyDeleteAll your doing is making Kim want to come over and shop at Target.. i know we have Target here, but its crap
ReplyDeleteLove it! Not sure if vinegar would help or not.
ReplyDeleteOh..love this frock! Hopefully, it feels like Easter there..this weekend.
ReplyDeleteGah! That's horrible about the colorbleed - though it's not noticeable unless someone brings it to your attention.
ReplyDeleteWhite distilled vinegar works if you haven't washed the piece yet. If you have already washed the piece, you need to FIRST soak the dress in an OxiClean/water mix for up to 8 hours; then rewash, adding one cup of white distilled vinegar to your standard detergent. This should work to removed the bleeding.
xx
This outfit is so cute!!! I didn't notice the color bleed but maybe that is because the photos aren't close up. If nothing else, you can at least wear it with a cardigan. Or maybe a short sleeve cardigan!
ReplyDeleteIs that Passion tea you are drinking? Mmmm.
You've got to save that cat dress! Looks so pretty on you. It's a great dress.

ReplyDeleteThis cat dress is so awesome! I love how you styled it with the denim jacket and cute hat. Your oxfords and socks combo is super cute too. Reminds me that I need to wear mine more often since they look so great with little dresses like this!
ReplyDeleteCute, cute, cute Sara! Loved it :) xx
ReplyDeleteLove, love, LOVE this dress. Sorry to hear about the black dye bleeding on it though, that is the worst when clothes do that!
ReplyDeleteSomehow I missed a whole ton of your posts so I'm catching up now! Very cute outfit. I love the hat on you!
ReplyDeleteTalk nerdy to me.
