Mini Mitten Meet-up!
7:33 PMThis post maybe a tad photo-heavy, but for a good reason! Sunday I had the pleasure of meeting two more Michigan bloggers, not only from my area, but from my own new-to-me City of Oak Park! Originally before I moved into the house, I wanted to plan a giant blogger meet-up in Detroit. However, after all the work + school, I knew I could not plan such a gathering well enough so I put it off. Then summer classes started and all the craziness of Summer and I kept putting it off. Then one post not that long ago one of the bloggers, Brittney, mentioned that we live in the same city and NEVER see each other. I knew I had to do something about this so I posted a little even on Facebook and low and behold, Sunday morning I found myself having breakfast with two amazing girls.
I had started talking to Tiffany I think almost a year ago now after she found my blog. We immediately started gushing over our amazing "dog children" and soon found we had other things in common like Harry Potter, movies, reading and writing, photography, Conan O'Brien...you know, basic girly-dork stuff. Not long after Brittney and I started reading each others blogs and I was happy to discover that Tiffany and Brittney were sisters. Brittney has a fashion blog and comes up with some pretty creative looks that I love. So I managed to get Cat, Lauren, Tiffany, Brittney and I to meet up for some yummy food at Alex's in Berkly and to go thrifting at the value world in Oak Park.
As you can see, there was plenty of goofing off in the thrift store. Cat had to work so she left early, but we spent awhile in the store pawing through everything. Lauren kept trying on clothes over her clothes and running around to show us, it was so funny! Britney , Tiffany and I found the old VHS tapes and I got a copy of Ghost World for 80 cents! We all managed to find something we liked and it was fun to just giggle and joke around with other girls for an afternoon. I know we will have to have more meet-ups soon because this was a lot of fun!

How fun! I love reading about your blogger meet ups. Perhaps the most amazing thing about blogging is getting to meet or correspond with awesome people. :)
