Layered Up

Wow these photos are from over a week ago, and there are a lot in this post because I was not really sure when I would be taking another outfit photo (I am still not sure). Moving is crazy. I have stuff everywhere right now and I just want to finally get out of this apartment, but at the same time I am going to miss it. E.Hudson has been our home for over 6 years, we painted all the walls bright colors, we planted flowers and vegetables from Eastern Market every year, and every year they all died. Except the basil (we ate a lot of pesto for awhile). I wanted to take pics of the house but it is organized chaos right now. The apartment is in sad shape but the house I have a better handle on, it's just that there is no furniture or anything yet, just boxes with little labels on them stacked up and waiting to be unpacked.
Oh and here are my boots that I have to throw away. It's a sad day in the world of Sara. I bought them for $2 at a garage sale but they are falling apart now. I need to get a new pair, I think since Winter is coming to an end soon, things like boots and coats will be going on sale soon.
I decided to try to winterize a romper. I actually really liked this look, and low and behold I am wearing a hoodie! I didn't take a picture of the back of it, but I said I would wear more hoodies didn't I? I have a few pull-over hoodies that I want to show off, but they haven't been resurrected from the laundry yet.
I also love a good stocking cap. This one reminds me of "Home Alone" :)
Sooooo, I have noticed that I have been plaguing you guys with book and movies reviews left and right, I have one more book review prepped and ready for posting, but it will probably be the last one for awhile because of the move. I wanted another book to start reading for during lunch breaks and the like and so I grabbed a thick one that will take me awhile so I don't have to dig through boxes again. I picked Ulysses.

That romper is so cute! I give you credit for styling up a romper in the middle of winter, I don't think I would be so brave haha. But the outcome is wonderful :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the move!
you look so adorable in rompers! i'm jealous! i only have one romper that i bought in hawaii, but it's made that it's just so hard to style. but perhaps i may winterize it! (you know..maybe when the weather in ca stops being 70 degrees.)
ReplyDeleteI love the winter-romper look. And it is so YOU. :)
ReplyDeleteMoving is hard work and not just physically. Leaving a place dredges up all the memories of your time there. Best wishes with the transition. (You're allowed to cry: I always do.)
