Cozy & Casual

Second outfit post in a row, woot! First off I want to thank everyone's sweet comments, you guys are all awesome-possum. I really do wish that I could somehow reach out and steal all of you guys for a day or so and just hang out IRL. What do you say? Head to Michigan for a Spring break? It's nice here. Kind of like a giant wetland. Lots of mud-snow for everyone!
I never really liked Spring. I like Spring in the mitten when you have the day off and you know that you are going to be outside and getting muddy. Kyle and I used to take our bikes out to Stoney Creek metro park and ride all the bike trails in the mud. Back when I had my purple 10 speed Huffy that I pretended was a mountain bike. It's probably why it is now in a bike grave yard somewhere. I want to get out this year and do that again, I doubt the beach-cruiser will manage on the trails so I might have to just steal my little brother's bike (that's what brothers are for right?).
This is Lauren's jumper. I LOVE it! I get to style it up once more and give it back to her. I am trying to style up everyone's clothes that I have because I am kind of tired of hoarding them all.
I realized that these are the last outfit photos that I have taken outside the apartment :( I am not sure where I am going to be taking them at the house. There is a school and a park across the street so I might use that. But I also have that backyard that I can put to use. Kyle is already plotting trips to Eastern Market come April, the guy wants to PLANT. I hope Louie doesn't destroy whatever we plant.

I'm not a huge fan of Spring either. Too wet, too muddy, and we still get snow sometimes here in Michigan! One year my momsy planned a b-day party for me at an outdoor fun center and it snowed. My birthday is April 10th (ha!)
ReplyDeleteYou look soooooo cute! Can't wait to get a virtual tour of the new casa!
You look so cooozy in your sweater and hat! I love it. I am also hoarding people's clothes and feeling guilty about it. Eesh I need to do something about that. Anyway, I think instead of me coming to Michigan this spring break you should come to Portland! It'll be green and lush and beautiful! We'll go to all 28 breweries in the city! DO IT. :)
ReplyDeleteI miss you. It's been forever since we've hung out.
ReplyDeleteCute look, as always. Hats work for you.
ReplyDeleteI'd travel to the mitten to hang out with you! I've had weaker excuses for jumping on the bike. Hmm... where's that map?
I love that spot of spring under the dark jumper. But I'm glad you are ready for the elements too. Just can't get away from my boots either.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet sweater with this.
ReplyDeleteIts so hard to even think spring here. So love that yellow on you.

ReplyDeleteHi Sara!! You're so cute! Horray for posting outfits in a row :-). I would love to hang out with you because you seem so friendly and fun! My exboyfriend (the asshole (sorry about that word) who broke my heart is from Michigan so I want to know where he lives look like! xxoxoxoo

ReplyDeleteSpring in SoCal is like an extension of summer, to be honest. I say we'll all be wearing shorts by mid to late March, and that will continue through at least November. Seriously! :P
