Sparkle Party

Sparkles! And lots of them. We definitely had an eventful NYE, lots of drinks, lots of dancing, we lost a camera, and Louie feasted on White Castle. Mariah, Suzzie, and myself, along with the guys, headed up to one of our usual haunts, Orchid in Ferndale. Usually, they have a $2 drink special for the first few hours, but they did not for NYE, which was a bummer. Even though the place was open until 4am, we ended up leaving at 2, and came home to demand my brother and his friends drink more with us. Apparently they had White Castle, and we found a crave case on the floor, and Louie stashed a bunch of the burgers in the couch and upstairs. I know it is bad, but it was so damn funny. 

Mariah and I were the first ones to wake the next morning and demand breakfast. We forced everyone awake, and to National Coney Island, where apparently all of Michigan was also getting breakfast, and we continued to be the loud assholes that we are. 

My house is a mess, and I spent the rest of the day sleeping and watching movies, but today is my official start of the New Year. I am taking a break from going out for a few weeks, my wallet and myself need rest. Not to mention my heat vent is drying my throat out every night, so I sound like I smoke a pack a day, so attractive. 

I am excited to see what 2013 brings, but I mostly hope it is more sleep.

    Oh..Louie sounds so much like my brother..or used to..but it was with his friends booze. Of course, this is the guy who slept in a tree and fell on my Mom's car.
