Frankenmuth
2:55 PM
Last week whilst on vacation, Kyle and I actually took a day off from painting the kitchen and hanging out with friends to take a little day trip to Frankenmuth Michigan! Frankenmuth is a little tourist town that is pretty much insane at Christmas time. There is a gigantic Christmas store called "Bronners" that is jammed with tons and tons of decorations and at night they have a giant holiday lights display.
Kyle and I had a lot of fun browsing the shops and stocking up on cheeses, summer sausage and random Michigan paraphernalia. The only bummer of the trip was it rained all day. No snow to be seen anywhere, there is still no snow outside right now. I guess we will be having a green Christmas this year (sad face).
I can't believe it is already Christmas eve! Last night was my work's "unofficial work party", we kinda just meet up at a bar every year for drinks before the holidays, and we have lots to do today. I have tons of cookies to bake and presents to wrap, and we are going over to Kyle's sisters house for a little bit tonight and to both of our parents houses tomorrow. Lots of running around! I still have presents to mail out because I never made it to the post office in time, I know, slacker but it has been such a crazy month. I really just want to do everything better next year when I don't have the excuse of school anymore.
I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Holiday!
