Greensleeves
7:37 PM
Woot woot all the outfit posts this week! I kind of wish that I had waited to wear this until Christmas now but I wore it Christmas shopping so I guess that counts. I am so happy that I bought everyone's presents already! I spent a little more on presents than I wanted to but it is so much fun buying gifts for other people. I still have to make part of them, and I have to get all of Kyle's yet (he was with me so I didn't even try). I am also hoping to write out the Christmas cards today! Nothing like waiting until the last minute huh?
This scarf was made by Lauren! She gave it to me for my birthday and I have worn it before but I had not taken a picture with it yet. I have also been really into rings lately and I have been wearing my class ring. I graduated class of 2003 from Ferndale High School and my younger brother David is going to be graduating from Ferndale this year. It is kind of crazy! Three Astley's have made their way through FHS, not including my Dad's family, and we still have one more on his way. I am really going to feel old once Liam gets in high school, he is only in second grade tight now. Sheesh.
For now, I am going to focus on thrifting, Kyle is patiently waiting for me to get off the computer :P

That scarf is AWESOME! And so is that dress/hat combo. Also I love Greensleeves, one of the best Christmas songs ever.

ReplyDeleteI, also, only just sent out xmas cards, yesterday. (And only to, like, 3 people or so, this year.)
ReplyDeleteSo you're not the only one! You, at least, have finals as an excuse ;)
It's looking a lot like Christmas there. But you look warm and snug in those boots.
ReplyDeleteLove your scarf. It reminds me of a lei. I love shopping for Christmas presents for other people and wrapping them.
ReplyDeleteYour dress is so sweet! I will definitely need to hit up more garage sales next summer on the hunt for cute clothes! I tend to not have such a successful time at thrift stores because they're overwhelming...but garage sales would be the perfect size!
ReplyDeleteGood for you finishing up all your shopping! I'm almost done with Ravi's...but am crafting for everyone else...needless to say, I will be using my next week off work to complete all that!
so adore the details to this outfit!
