Reads: Armageddon In Retrospect

A collection of  previously unpublished writings on war & peace, including an intro written by his son Mark Vonnegut, this book comes off as a tribute the late Kurt Vonnegut himself.

I have read some of Vonnegut's work before, but this was a fast-read, and had a charming way of terrifying me while I read it. Vonnegut's morals are depicted in each of these stories, heavy with the subject of war and lives of soldiers. He even addresses his own habits of making horrible things seem lighter by creating sarcasm  around the subject in one of the earlier pieces, answering the common question: "Do you take anything seriously?"

If anything, this book makes me want to read everything else this man has ever written.
