Rabid Habits

So this one time I went shopping at a vintage resale shop with Lauren, bought a really sweet top and then hoarded it in my closet for two years. True story bro.

So I have this habit, where I break things. It is not 100% being clumsy really, although a lot of it can be chalked up to that, but I just unintentionally go Hulk on things. In the past month I have dented furniture, broken our record player (sad face), the palm-sander, the french-press, and a wine glass, to name a few things. We just replaced the lens on the camera (which I broke), and we are in the market for a new vacuum.  The broken vacuum can't really be blamed on me, but it 'just happens' to not work when I come near it. We are not even going to start on Beans, that car completely loathes me. I coo to it, I keep it clean, buy it new air-fresheners, get regular oil changes, I even bought it a shiny new battery! What does it do? Burn oil and piddle coolant all over the drive-way.

So why do I break stuff? Do I need to have a personal chat with myself before I touch things? A "keep calm and stop breaking shit" kind of deal? This is the reason why I only wear costume jewelry, THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS. Maybe I should be tested. Perhaps I was born with a super-hormone which enables me to slowly destroy everything I own. It would be cool to have an excuse, but what kind of crap is that? A super-power that essentially means I keep repair shops in business. Maybe the universe is trying to tell me something, like I should start crafting things out of the things I break? Make a profit, or at the very least something pretty.

OR, I could just get more sleep, and stop being such a clumsy turd.

  4. Oh..well..I do the same thing. That is why I don't spend much on clothes. Got a new top..and I have no idea what I spilled on it, but it was only about 4 bucks to begin with.

And don't even get me started with vacuums. I've burned the motor out on a couple lately. According to my Mom..they just don't make'm like they used too..gotta wonder if she's talking about vacuums though.

    Just be your nifty self.

Once my Mom..when she was pregnant with my brother..bumped into a can of soups stacked nicely at a grocery story and the whole thing came crashing down.

  5. I love this top. Its so cool!

It is easy to break wine glasses. I don't have to be drunk to do it. Just getting them out of he dishwasher can sometimes break them.
