How nice of me to wear this awesome pea coat twice without taking any photos of it buttoned-up, Iknowright. This was my birthday present to myself, because, how can I have a pixie haircut without owning a pea coat? My brain people.

This is actually the outfit I wore to my cousin’s wife’s baby shower a few weeks back. I was a little nervous about attending a baby shower because I really did not know what they would entail. I pictured that one episode of Gilmore Girls where Lorelei and Rory are trapped at one with drunken women fanatically yelling “Take the deviled eggs!”. Instead the whole set-up was adorable, every pinterest user’s dream I tell you. Cute little decorations everywhere, delicious food, mimosas, pink lemonade, and loads of wine. I got to know my cousin’s wife, Jessica, a little better; she’s really cool and going to be an awesome mom. The best part was talking to my Grandma (my father’s mother), who I rarely get to see.

I also was offered a job at Starbucks at the shower by some woman who knows a manager who runs one at a mall near me. I respectfully declined, as I don’t like people that much.

  5. Was this your first baby shower that you attended? That is so cute that you were nervous about it!! I used to go to a few of them when I was a child so I guess I never really thought of things as you have. I think I've been to loads since. You are so cute.

  19. I hosted a baby shower two years ago and it's awesome. I think I'm watching too much of Barney Stinson. LOL. Love that show, btw.

On a different note, I sort of wanna work in Starbucks. It's on my bucket list. I just want to try working as a barista.

I think I'm a bit off topic here, too. I can't believe your boots are thrifted. Looks so damn great to me! I kinda think you can't buy them, you gotta thrift those good boots
