Hello and welcome to my 500th post! Woot Woot! Of course it is about food. If it wasn’t about clothes, it was going to be about food, you know this, and I know this, so here we are, looking at a bowl of oatmeal.

Sunday night I decided that I wanted something delicious and warm for breakfast Monday morning. So, I threw some steel cut oats in a crockpot with some agave, cinnamon & apples and it made the whole house smell amazing.

What you’ll need:

-1 cup of oatmeal
-3 cups of water
- ½ cup of light silk vanilla (you can also use creamer if you want)
- ½ large red apple
- 2 teaspoons of agave or honey
- As much cinnamon as you’d like

Put all the ingredients in the crock-pot and stir it up. I also added some fresh blackberries to mine in the morning, as you can see. This made up about 2 small-medium cereal bowls and another bowl left over. I think next time I will even use a whole apple because it came out really good.
