Fast Weekend

What a jam-packed weekend! Starting with Hunger Games Friday night, which was awesome, in my personal opinion. I don’t want to give too much away for those who have not seen it, but Lenny Kravitz is perfect as Cinna. The rest of the weekend was packed with friends, and family. We had our first fire-pit gathering of the season, I only partook for a bit as I am still battling my sinus infection, but everyone else enjoyed it until the wee hours of the morning. Summer is almost here!

Sunday, Kyle and I had an amazing brunch at Christine’s Cuisine in Ferndale with his family. I looooove their food, it is always so yummy. Then we took Louie out, since it was so nice out, and then put together a picnic table we had bought on clearance last year. It is so nice to be able to sit outside and work now. I even cleaned off the garage patio and put out our bistro set and our chairs on the front porch. I cannot wait to start work on our yard, we are going to try to do a little at a time so we are not overwhelmed like last year. Trips to Eastern Market will start again and I am excited to plant veggies! I may even try my hand at wild flowers again, this time in the backyard where there is more sun.

Now I just need to get through this week, my boss is out for the next few days/week, his wife is having a baby. I am going to focus on finishing up a wedding project, cleaning the house, and start training for my 10k in June.

  10. Of course that dress is modcloth, it's absolute perfection!!! LOVE IT! (I don't even allow myself to look at MC right now, the whole no new 2012 thing and all)

    Also that jacket is magical!
I totally agree about the hunger games, I was really skeptical about LK as Cinna but he was awesome! I just wish they had done a better job of getting Josh's hair blonde or just let him have brown hair, his orangey mess just kinda irked me LOL..I am a huge weirdo though!
