I am so thankful that Kyle and I managed to find a house across the street from a park again. It may not be as cute as the one that was by our old apartment, but it is really nice to look out the window and see all of the beautiful trees this time of year.

This week and weekend has been so busy and productive, it has been wonderful. I have been sticking to my early morning workouts and I have been making my days packed with productivity. It is kind of awesome getting as much as possible done each day, I managed to have my Friday night freed up and hung out with the guys  for a bit.  Saturday, Kyle and I cleaned the house and managed to sort through most of the wood from the tree that was cut down earlier this year. We stacked pallets up on cinder blocks and stacked all the wood on the pallets. Then we set up this giant bin that Brian got from work and put all the smaller pieces in it. All that is left are the rotted-out pieces that need to be chopped up and burned. Which is awesome because I love having little fires in our backyard fire-pit.

So these are my new converse Kyle bought for me for my birthday, I love them so much! They are so comfortable, and it is nice to have a pair that are not falling apart on the inside, like my old ones. I also bought new jeans from American Eagle Outfitters with a coupon I had from my birthday. I love thrift stores so much, but jeans are hard to come across. They shrink in the wash, and get worn out quickly. That and I am not a fan of jeans that have sparkles on the butt pockets or any of that jazz.

Now I am off to finish some homework, do laundry and go to the grocery store. Lots on the agenda today, and it is beautiful outside so I want to take Louie out as well.

  2. I am so envious of your productivity. My weekend has been the opposite. The newspaper engulfed my day yesterday as expected, but unexpectedly I overslept this morning! Guess my alarm was set to a low volume and I really needed that sleep. Still starting an hour later than intended was hard to remedy. Oh well, I hope your positive productive vibes can be sent my way.

  10. Love your scarf. I've never actually thrifted a pair of jeans, it's SO hard to find jeans that fit I don't have the patience to try them on at thrift stores. I think new is generally the way to go for denim.
