Romeo Adventures

6:13 AM

Between last weekend and this past one, I can officially say that Summer is over. It couldn't have had a better ending. This weekend held a lot of firsts for me, including my very first art show in Romeo MI. Kyle didn't have to work Friday night so we cleaned up and headed out to see Lauren's artwork on display.

I had a lot of fun shopping at Target the past few weeks. I think this sweater is Kyle's new fave. I finally got some dressy boots for work and wearing out and about and I am glad that I layered because it was cold! Kyle looked pretty spiffy himself.

There was also a peach festival going on in Romeo and I wish that I took more pictures. I really liked the area a lot. The art show was great, it was so cool to see all of Lauren's art all lined up and there was even a guy playing music. I got to meet some new people and I got to see some people that I hadn't seen in awhile.

  9. I'm sorry to hear about the sniffles. I still have a runny nose, I think it's the drastic weather change we had last week. Oh here's a picture of you from the show >>

  13. I think this might be my favorite outfit of yours so far!! I love everything about it, and it's totally something I would wear. Especially love the floral dress; I can't seem to get enough of those lately. I'm wearing my tall boots today with a summery yellow dress even though it's still over 90 degrees here because I just couldn't help myself. lol LOVE your hair in this one too.

  21. I don't know if it's the purple or what, but your outfit looks so calming. Very cute! You picked a great art show for your first one! Not only is Lauren super talented, but it was nice that was a smaller show. Unfortunately people at art openings usually just take advantage of the free booze and don't really take notice of the artwork (it's a pet peeve of mine).

  26. Looks like a good time. I like the tights. My aunt used to live in Romeo, I remember hearing about the peach festival and being interested but never actually getting to go. This was years ago.
